With BIG METAL made by BOGA GmbH, it is easy to produce deionised water economically. The construction makes it possible for the user to renew the NON REUSABLE resin filling himself on the spot.

Technological description
Mixed bed ion exchanger made of high-quality steel.
Head, which has integrated handles, and stilt are protected by a vulcanised hard rubber collar. The escape valve is also made of high-quality steel which has excellent chemical resistance characteristics.
The internal water distribution system is in the shape of a ring so the resin is used uniformly, thus maximising resin life.

Resign description
The high-quality non reusable mixed bed resin is a homogenous mixture of very sour cationite in the H+ form and an extremely basic anionite in the OH- form. It has a consistent quality with a high cationic exchange capacity. It is pure and optimal graining for high exchange capacity and speed. The resin is mechanicalIy stable with a high uptake capacity for organic impurities.

Chemical resistance: Insoluble in acids, lyes and the usual solvents.
The resin is sold in 25 l airtight sacks. This sufficient for 1 refill of the BIG METAL empty container. If the water has an input conductivity of 400 S/cm, one filling with produce about 4.000l of deionised water with a conductivity of < 20 S/cm. A conductivity meter is needed to determine the quality of the deionised water and with it the degree of exhaustion of the resin.
The BIG METAL is extremely economical, as it is designed for an infinite number of refills. The only running cost is the replenishment of the non reusable mixed bed resin.
