BIG BLUE mixed bed - ion exchanger
With BLUE made by BOGA GmbH, it is possible for the first time to produce even small quantities of deionisied water in an economical way.
The construction makes it possible for the user to renew the NON REUSABLE mixed bed resign filling himself or to insert a new non reusable cartidge.

Technological description
The filter housing BIG BLUE consists of reinforced polypropylene, the filter head of ABS. The escape valve is made of high-quality steel. These materials give excellent chemical resistance characteristics.

Resign description
The high-quality non reusable mixed bed resin is a homogenous mixture of very sour cationite in the H+-form and an extremely basic anionite in the OH--form. It is of consistent quality with a high cationic exchange capacity. It is pure with optimal graining for high exchange capacity and speed. The resin is mechanically stable with a high uptake capacity for organic impurities.

Chemical resistance: Insoluble in acids, lyes and the usual solvents.
The resin is sold in 25 l airtight sacks. That is sufficient for 6 new fillings of the BIG BLUE empty container. If the input water has a conductivity of 400 S/cm, one filling will produce about 4.000l of deionised water with a conductivity of < 20 S/cm. A conductivity meter is needed to determine the quality of the deionised water and with it the degree of exhaustion of the resin.
